Why spend your summers working at UCYC?

We believe spending a summer at UCYC will be life changing. Anyone who has worked here will tell you how incredible of a place it is. You will have opportunities to grow in Christ, learn valuable skills not found anywhere else, meet new life-long friends, and even find clarity in what God is calling you do with your life. What will I get paid?

$1,000 base pay
plus room & board.

Where will I live?

Every summer staffer is assigned a house for the summer. They share this house with the summer staff of the same gender in their specific Camp.

What does my day look like?

Your day starts with morning devotionals as a staff. A typical morning consists of breakfast, session, and field games. A typical afternoon consists of lunch and running recreation (wall, zip line, paintball, archery, etc.). A typical evening consists of dinner, games, session, and late night.

Will I be able to go to church?

Yes, there will a few times during the summer when you will have Sundays off to go to church. Most of our staff go to one of two local churches, the Heights and Prescott Christian Church.

What age group will I be working with?

We assign summer staff to camps based on ability and need. You will find this out when you arrive at camp.

Where will I eat?

Meals will be provided in the Dining Hall while camp is in session.

Will I have time off?

Yes, there are days off during the summer. You will get a calendar when you arrive that have specific dates. These dates differ depending on the camp you are placed in.

WHY UCYC?

Located in the mountains of Prescott, Arizona, UCYC was founded in 1952 by Phoenix Independent Christian Churches. Today, we serve over 60 churches in Arizona, California, and Nevada who, together, bring 7000+ campers each summer.
