AUDIO VISUAL TECHNICIAN

Reports to: Production Manager

Implementing UCYC’s standard of service while creating multimedia experiences that go beyond the expectations of our guests and clients. Working alongside Program and Guest Services to create an exceptional multimedia experience and to create an atmosphere where guests can experience God intimately in a unique and dynamic way that cannot be duplicated in church settings..

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Proficiency in audio visual technology equipment.
  • Creating and implementing systems for safe storage and handling for audio/visual technology equipment.
  • Proficiency in camera/ video equipment and software based video editing including (but not limited to) Final Cut Pro X.
  • Proficiency in multiple operating systems and computer networking.
  • Responsible for Stage design and Rigging.
  • Creating Videos for website, social media and live events.
  • Creating multi-media production experiences as needed for live events where use of production equipment is necessary.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the A/V field is a must.
  • Computer skills are a must; needs to be proficient in Mac OS, Windows OS, as wells as operating systems such as iOS, and Android OS: understand multi displays setups proficient in presentation software (Pro Presenter) understanding of computer based DMX lighting software, and basic computer networking.

Working Conditions

Woking outdoors in weather that sometimes may be extreme. Some weekends will be required.

Physical Requirements

Needs to be able to lift heavy objects (50+ pounds), climb ladders, and crawl into tight spaces.

COOK

Reports to: Dining Services Director

Cooks are responsible for preparing and serving high quality meals to our guests. This person is able to work quickly and produce a quality experience along side the rest of our team. This role is also a team player and supports the needs of all team members.

The duties and responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and kitchen staff to prepare buffet style meals during dining hours.
  • Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items.
  • Maintain accurate food inventories.
  • Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures marking the date.
  • Cook menu items for the day with minimal amount of oversight, with excellent
    quality and within time allotted.
  • Rotate stock items as per established procedures.
  • Restock Kitchen for subsequent shifts.
  • Assist and support kitchen staff in their duties.
  • Maintain line of sight and atmosphere control by circulating through work areas throughout shift.
  • Ensure that kitchen, salad bar, walk in coolers, and freezers remain clean and free of hazards during shift.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of Food Service experience in a cooking capacity.
  • Supervisory experience over other food service staff.
  • Able to read and understand directions and recipes clearly and precisely.
  • Performance under stress and time constraints.
  • Can quickly think on the fly and make adjustments as needed.
  • Reliable and Accountable.

Working Conditions
Open availability needed

Physical Requirements
Able to lift 50lbs. Can be up and moving 90% of shift.

JH & HS Coordinator

Reports to: JH & HS Director

JR High & High School Coordinator is to oversee several areas of the JH/HS program. This includes management of a camp in the summer, development of relationships with pastors, and as an associate to the JH & HS Director.

The duties and responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Development of systems and ideas that continually improve guest’s experience.
  • Partnering to lead camps throughout the guest season.
  • Developing Relationships with Pastors, Summer Staff, and Co-workers

Qualifications

  • General knowledge of camp ministry

Working Conditions
Ability to work long hours during guest season

Physical Requirements
Vitality and energy to work closely with people for long hours

Event Coordinator

Reports to: Lead Event Coordinator

The Event Coordinator serves as a member of the Guest Services team with an emphasis on relational service to Guest Groups and Group Leaders.

The duties and responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for contacting group leaders in a timely manner to clarify group set up details, event needs, as well as necessary guest accommodations.
  • Must be able to anticipate and promptly respond to guest and group needs.
  • On call and available for all guest group needs during the duration of assigned events.
  • Will communicate specific guest needs to the appropriate departments.
  • Responsible for the weekly operations of group events from arrival to departure.
  • Responsible for scheduling multiple group activities (recreation, campfires, etc.) in an efficient manner.
  • Expected to build and maintain relationships with groups & group leaders that create further advocacy for UCYC.
  • Responsible for continuing the growth of service at UCYC.

Working Conditions
Frequently works weekends, evenings, and outdoors.
