I’m New Here Why UCYC?

Transforming lives through experiencing the outdoors, community and the love of Christ.

What is UCYC?

UCYC (short for United Christian Youth Camp) is a thriving non-profit in Prescott AZ.

We specialize in making it EASY and FUN for youth pastors and children’s leaders to bring their students to one of our 35, life-changing camps and retreats or run their own events at one of our three camps.

Our mission is to be used of God to see lives transformed through experiencing the outdoors, community, and the love of Christ.

What “FUN-STUFF” is there to do?

Fun is a starting place.

Come and try these out:

Looking for the (near) Perfect Arizona Camp, Retreat or Conference Center?

Discover UCYC in Prescott, AZ.

The story of Robin happens hundreds of times each year in Arizona, Nevada and Southern California. The Christian church volunteer was tasked to find the perfect camp, retreat or conference center in AZ for it’s Christian overnight event.

Why Camp? The reasons vary.

For some, it’s because a leader dreamt up an amazing vision of life change and it required getting away from the everyday. For others they want to beat the heat of the city and distractions of life, buildings, concrete and the crowds of Phoenix, Las Vegas, or Los Angeles. For others, they had a terrible experience at another AZ or CA camp last year. For some, they’ve outgrown the Christian camp or retreat center they’ve used before.

Whatever the reason, UCYC has become the top Christian camp in Arizona that churches LOVE.
Why? Here are the top 7 reasons Robin loves UCYC:

You want to bring your group to one of UCYC fully-designed summer or winter camps for grades 4-12. WE plan it for you. Plug and play. We take care of lodging, meals, recreation, speakers, worship – full-service. All you need to do is focus on relationships with your youth and volunteers.

Was UCYC worth the RISK?

Stephen Pate, a seasoned youth pastor from Southern California knew he was taking a HUGE RISK. UCYC was a 6-hour bus ride. If UCYC didn’t deliver for his high-schoolers, it could mean his job. That was 6-years ago. Stephen now says: “UCYC has become the highlight of our year. Students experience real-life transformation through the relationships built with each other and God.”

One thing that differentiates us from other camps is that the church’s LEADERS in a 1:7 ratio, as well as a pastor, COME FREE.
