Why UCYC?

Our people.

If you’ve ever experienced life at UCYC you already know – our people get it.

Sure, we have great food, over-the-top games and recreation, comfortable cabins, and cool spaces to meet and connect…but anyone can do that.

  • We get life in ministry.
  • We make it easy and fun for you to camp or retreat.
  • We understand the power of a shared experience in an outdoor setting.
  • We love life transformation – not just in our guests but in our own community.

But – don’t take our word for it. Scan the real-time, real-life reviews (below) posted on Google and Facebook.

What church leaders tell us is that “we get them”. They feel valued, understood and appreciated…and when they leave us – they feel encouraged.

How is this possible? Frontline joys and scars. Many of us have worked in churches, ministries and youth groups. We bring your perspective to all we do.

Had a great time here! Cabins are nice and warm. Good food and coffee! Love that we didn't have to clean cabins afterwards. My Jr high kids had fun. Love to come back for winter camp next year!

UCYC was an amazing experience for my first High School camp! Will definitely recommend to friends, and hope to come back next year! I loved the overall layout of the camp, friendly staff, and all of the different activities provided. 😀

I took our small group of kids from our church in Tucson. It was a beautiful and enriching experience as we each took steps nearer to Jesus on our individual faith journeys. The staff was fantastic! The food was great! They were very accommodating with some restrictive dietary needs. Only down side, as an adult, was the sleeping situation. It would be nice if there were appropriate "adult-sized" beds. Overall, I look forward to attending with our group again next year!

This summer was our child's first UCYC camp experience and he had a wonderful time. He has food intolerance needs and the chef and kitchen staff were so great at providing him safe food alternatives that were comparable to what the general population was eating. He loved the theme, had a lot of fun with the special activities, and came back exhausted and losing his voice. Thank you UCYC for providing such a wonderful experience for these young kids to learn more about God's love for each of them! We look forward to more camp trips in the future!
