Join us this Summer 2024 as we unpack The Sermon on the Mount. Together we’ll discover that when we know who we are in Christ, we know who we really are. Jesus offers a new identity, one as followers centered on His enduring hope, love, mercy, and peace. Gone is the striving to pay a debt we could never afford, instead we rest in surrender to Jesus and His greater plan for our lives.

Space is reserved on a first come, first served basis and stays open until the camp is sold out. Upon that time, UCYC will start a waiting list and will release spots if/when they become available.

When is Arrival and/or Departure for Summer Camp?

Summer Camp starts on the morning of the first day of each camp week and ends after lunch on the last day of each camp week. This will provide more opportunities for groups to facilitate relationship building and give time to add specific programming into the schedule this year.

Do I/we have to sign a contract?

The contract must be signed within 14 days of receiving it. Your church is responsible for the total number of guests on the contract even if the total number of guests attending is below the registered amount.

It’s a good practice to ensure the correct number of people you are expecting to attend with your organization before submitting the registration/inquiry form.

Is there a deposit amount, and if so, when is it due?

A non-refundable 20% deposit is due within 14 days of signing the contract. The balance of total charges is due 30 days prior to the first day of camp.

What is the the leader ratio I should plan for?

UCYC requires one leader for every eight students. In addition, your group must have at least one male and one female adult if you are bringing both male and female students to the event.

Is there additional waivers that we need to sign upon registration?

UCYC requires everyone coming with your group (including leaders and the group leader) to sign a waiver. The link for our waiver will be emailed to you. Signed waivers must be completed at least 24 hours prior to arrival at camp. A parent/guardian signature is required for minors.

What if we have people with food allergies?

We serve food options with no gluten containing ingredients but are prepared in a common kitchen. While we take steps to minimize the likelihood of exposure, our gluten friendly options are not recommended for guests with Celiac or any other gluten sensitive disorders. If you have a guest who will be attending camp that has additional allergies or dietary restrictions (dairy free, vegan, vegetarian, etc.), a refrigerator and microwave are available if they would like to bring supplemental food. UCYC will not prepare food brought by any guest and cannot cater to individual dietary needs.

Are background checks required?

A background check must be performed by your church for every adult attending camp.  An authorized representative will sign off that this has been completed.

What about medications?

Each group is responsible to collect and store any and all medications for their students. UCYC provides a safe location to store medications but it is the group’s responsibility to ensure students receive their medications.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the best way to pay for camp?

At UCYC, the best way to pay is by check. We charge a 3% fee on all credit card transactions.

If a student goes home sick, will we receive a refund?

No, your contract is based on your signed guaranteed financial number and your group is responsible for that amount.

How will we know if everyone has signed their waiver?

The group leader is able to see everyone who has completed the waiver.

Can a student sign their own waiver?

Unless they are 18 or older, their parent/guardian must sign the waiver on their behalf.

Will our group be housed together and will we be sharing space with other groups?

Your group is housed together (separated by gender) to the best of our ability. Depending on the numbers of your group, and the makeup of the camp, you may share the common area of a cabin with other groups, and on occasion, you may share sleeping quarters with another group.

Does my whole group have to wear a wristband?

To help ensure the safety and security of UCYC guests, we require all guests to wear a UCYC supplied wristband while on campus. Wristbands are checked during meal times and recreation.

How do you handle Lost & Found?

UCYC does not keep general Lost & Found items. After a group leaves, all items left behind are gathered and discarded immediately. The exception to this is medications, expensive electronics/jewelry, wallets/identification cards and keys (personal items).

If you need assistance with a lost item please visit the Lost & Found page and complete the lost and found form.
