The behaviors that make you successful in one leadership role can become liabilities in the next. As your influence grows, leadership becomes more about intentionally changing how you think, communicate, and lead. Moving to the next level requires deliberately picking up new behaviors and letting go of old ones.

If we want lasting influence, we must be known more for who we’re for than what we’re against. Clarity about who we champion builds trust, fuels mission, and reflects the heart of Jesus. When people are confident we genuinely want what’s best for them, they lean in instead of pulling away.

Leadership rises or falls on the quality of the questions we ask. Better questions lead to deeper listening, wiser decisions, healthier cultures, and more Christlike leadership. Jesus didn’t lead primarily by giving answers—he led by asking transformative questions.
